BOKWA is the fastest most exciting dance fitness program around today and if you live/work in or around the Chessington / Ewell / Epsom area this is your chance to get involved. Come and sweat the alphabet and dance the digits with me Agnes Horsler.
BOKWA is a dance program created and developed by Paul Mavi with many aspects of popular fitness programs ranging from hi lo aerobics to kickboxing. The name BOKWA is derived from the combination of its two main component (BO) stands for light boxing (KWA) is the traditional South African dance Kwaito.
The motto of BOKWA is if you can move and you can spell then you can BOKWA. It is truly a program for everyone from the youngest child to adults and the elderly as it can be done at any level of intensity from easy to moderate to high impact.
Classes are led with the use of American and BOKWA hand sign language. It is a fun workout where we draw letters and numbers on the floor with our feet. Each step can be done at low to high impact and in many variations giving participants a chance to make each step their own.
