Plum Tree Cottage: (sleeps 4) Has an open plan lounge/ kitchen /dining area, so the whole family can enjoy the holiday without feeling left out in the kitchen. The lounge/ dining area has a log burner, some granite walls and exposed oak beams. The well equipped kitchen area has a door leading to a covered veranda, this leads to the shared gardens and  pool area. On the 1st floor has a shower room and 2 bedrooms, a large double bedroom and a bedroom with bunk beds both with granite walls and exposed oak beams. The front bedroom has magnificent views over the undulating farmland, with cows grazing on the grass. There is a private patio area with garden furniture, san canopy and a BBQ. Plum Tree Cottage is one of 4 that have been restored to provide modern conveniences whilst retaining all the charm of a typical French farmhouse. Leaving in lots of the original features, like granite walls and exposed oak beams. A perfect place for all the family to unwind, either by the pool or under a tree with a good book and a glass of wine. There are two and a half acres of safe gardens with views over farmland.  The communal patio area has a brick BBQ, the ideal place for parents to get to know one another, while the children play.   We have had many an enjoyable evening with a BBQ and a few drinks.   The heated above ground pool is made of teak to fit in with the surroundings in the orchard. The pool is open from May - September.   The gardens are the ideal place to relax by the pool, have a picnic under a tree, or just sit and read a good book while drinking a glass a wine.   There is a 14ft trampoline with safety nets, badminton, swings, boules, swing ball, football net, and basketball in the gardens, along with numerous games. In the covered veranda there is table soccer, table tennis and a darts board. The gardens are large and safe enough for children to play.  Down the lane there is an 18 km Patrimoine walk through lovely countryside. Although we are in a quiet location, we are only 5 mins away from the village centre with its bar-tabac-restaurant-shop. And only 10 mins from Louvigne du Desert with its, shops, supermarkets and restaurants. Also nearby are attractions like Mont Saint Michel Water and floral parks, walking and cycle tracks, trout fishing, horse riding, canoeing, kayaking, Château's, and numerous places of interest. We are the ideal place for that weekend break, a house-hunting trip, that romantic getaway or that family holiday, group bookings also available if all 4 cottages are rented, sleeping 26 in total. There really is something for everyone in this beautiful part of Brittany.
